The Enoch Pratt Free Library, operated by CEO and former Youngstown Rotarian Heidi Daniel, has been named one of the 10 “Nicest Places in America” by Reader's Digest. Nominees were places where “people are kind and treat each other with respect.”

Online voting continues through July 7, and the place with the most votes will be featured on the cover of Reader’s Digest. Individuals can cast votes daily, and we’re sure Heidi would appreciate your votes.

Youngstown Rotary Last Week

The $10,000 sales goal was exceeded
- We took in $10,110 in ticket sales
The Whistle and Keg manager, "Hula Hoop" Hailey, selected the 3 winning tickets from the bucket while hula hooping the entire time
The winners are as follows:
- $2,000 - Cassendra Homick (tix sold by Don Foley)
- $1,000 - Josh Menelle (tix sold by Becky Keck)
- $ 500 - Hunter Morrison (fellow Rotarian self purchased the tix)
At the end of the event, the 25 or so attending Rotarians and guests took a group picture while President Frank Kishel blew the historic steam whistle on the Club's behalf to celebrate another job well done by the Club in this community endeavor
