Rotary Last Week
District Governor Elayne Bozick and Past District Governors Michelle Charles and Scott Schulick spoke about In Our Nature, a district-wide fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. Attendees will enjoy fellowship, dinner, and an art auction, with Rotarians having produced many of the art works. Proceeds from this event will help fund pollinator projects including the Pollinator Garden “The Garden With Wings” in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago and environmental projects within our district. The registration deadline was Aug. 5, but general donations and sponsorships are being accepted.
RCY was well represented on Aug. 2 at the End Polio Now game between the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Guardians. Rotarians from Districts 6630, 6650 and 6600 gathered for food, camaraderie and fireworks. Adding to the fun: The Guardians won 8-4.
