OP Calendar of Events

To celebrate the launch of the collaboration to raise local awareness of pollinators’ importance in worldwide ecosystem, a family-friendly kick-off event will be held on Sunday, May 19th at 11:00 am at Sweet Memories Vintage Tees, 1282 Trumbull Ave, Girard, Ohio. The event will feature the launch of the exclusive Operation Pollination T-shirt line, with 20% of proceeds donated to Operation Pollination, a national program that funds initiatives dedicated to protecting and conserving pollinators. 

Free Operation Pollination stickers, a sampling of Honey Bun local honey soda, and complimentary mini scoops of Honey Lavender Ice Cream, sponsored by Cockeye Creamery Ice Cream, will be available.  In addition, local honeybee vendors will be selling their handmade collections.

An Operation Pollination educator will be on hand with educational information and to answer questions. Coloring books and puzzles will be available, along with the opportunity for attendees to learn more about how they can get involved in supporting pollinator conservation.
